DANCING WITH THE STARS: LAST NIGHT’S PERFORMANCES

DANCING WITH THE STARS: LAST NIGHT’S PERFORMANCES

Last night’s Dancing With The Stars was filled with fun throwbacks to famous dances, included, but not limited to Austin Powers, NSYNC and Janet Jackson. As always, I have the video of how our favorite athletes did on the show…and if they are still competing.

Star: Doug Flutie

Claim To Fame: NFL legend

Pro: Karina Smirnoff

Famous Dance: Slumdog Millionaire

Dance: Bollywood

FIHH: This is one of my favorite genres of dances. He looks like he is having a ball out there, as per usual. He  put EVERYTHING into this tonight and it shows….it is obvious he wants to learn, do well and WIN! It is also one of his best dances since he has been on the show.

Len: Hollywood, Bollywood and Jolly Good!

Bruno:  Everything he wanted.

Carrie Ann: He is finally dancing and this is her favorite dance of his.

Scores: 7-7-7=21 out of 30

Star: Antonio Brown

Claim To Fame: Pittsburgh Steeler

Pro: Sharna Burgess

Famous Dance: Footloose

Dance: Jive

FIHH: The dance reminded me of a bunch of people dancing at prom or a wedding. It was fun, but not what I expected to see at this stage of the competition. He is definitely improving with each passing week, but I guess I was expecting more.

Carrie Ann: There was a mistake, but he killed it.

Len: His best dance.

Bruno: He proved he is a leading man.

Scores: 9-9-9=27 out of 30

Star: Paige Van Zant

Claim To Fame: MMA fighter

Pro: Mark Ballas

Famous Dance: Austin Powers Opening Number

Dance: Jazz

FIHH: They had to change everything because the original song had been pulled due to legal reasons. The dance was fun and was a great throwback to the movie, which always reminds me of my friend Ashley because it is one of her favorites. In fact, this very dance led to us talking last night and planning a reunion with some of our other high school friends. As for Paige and Mark, they proved tonight that they are here to win it! She has got a fight in her like nothing I have ever seen and I love it.

Len: There was nothing he didn’t like.

Bruno: He also enjoyed it.

Carrie Ann: They were awesome.

Scores: 9-10-9=28 out of 30

Star: Von Miller

Claim To Fame: Denver Broncos MVP

Pro: Witney Carson

Famous Dance: Bad—Michael Jackson

Dance: Jazz

FIHH: I am a huge fan of the King Of Pop, so I was apprehensive about this dance at first. However, they both proved me wrong by pulling off the closest re-enactment I have ever seen. He added his own flavor to it, made it their own, but still stayed true to the original dance.

Bruno: That was bad-ass!

Carrie Ann: He brought his own energy and flavor to the dance.

Len: BAD—which is good.

Scores: 8-8-8=24 out of 30

Sadly, this week we saw Von, Doug and Paige in the bottom three, with Doug and his partner Karina going home. It is sad to see them go because they were so positive and fun to watch. He is truly what this show is all about….learning something new, going out of your comfort zone and being positive.

Stay tuned for next week’s dances!
