TV IN HIGH HEELS: DANCING WITH THE STARS RECAP FOR MAY 23, 2017

dancing with the starsTV IN HIGH HEELS: DANCING WITH THE STARS RECAP FOR MAY 23, 2017

Hello and welcome to the grand finale on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Tonight, our final three couples will dance one more time for a chance for the mirror ball trophy. We also have musical guests and eliminated contestants returning.

We open with the top three couples and the judges entering the stage. We get a recap of each couple’s journey to the mirror ball trophy, as well as dancing from the pros and eliminated contestants. Heather Morris actually does a nice performance with several female pros.

Hallie Steinfeld performs and this makes  total of four times I’ve heard this song in one day. They play it every five minutes at work.

The male pros dance to that strawberry champagne song from Bruno Mars. It’s another one I hear about fifty times a day.

We also get a segment with the past winners talking about the finalists.

Now we are back in the ballroom. We get a dance with all the couples and then go into a recap of last night, followed by more group dances.

We then get a segment on the season’s best moments, which leads into the eliminated contestants performing their favorite dances.

Nick and Maks have apparently had a bit of a bromance going on, which is adorable. Their I love Nick/Maks shirts are hilarious.

Nick and Peta redo their rumba.

David and Lindsay redo their Magic Mike dance, which is probably, at least for me, his breakout dance. It showcases his sense of humor and willingness to do anything performance wise.

We continue to see more performances, including one by Charo that is more subdued that I expected from her.

TLC performs while Heather and Maks dance.

The favorite dances continue and I think that seeing Bruno dressed as a dancing construction worker was the best moment of the segment—especially when he gets a 4 and 3 from Tom and Erin.

More filler and dancing…Lady Antebellum sings….can we please get on with it already?

Mr. T. rapping about dancing—I can’t stop laughing.

Finally!
