Conforto doubles, sending two runners home. A strikeout and a walk to load the bases. Pete Alonso is hit by a pitch to drive in another run before the third out ends the top half of the inning. 7-2 Mets.

Mets change their pitcher to Edwin Diaz, who throws a wild pitch to Aaron Hicks and Estrada scores. Three strikeouts and an intentional walk keeps the score tied. Tauchman starts at second for the Yankees in the eighth. Ford walks.
