NBC Sports today announced it has extended its multi-platform partnership with ProFootballTalk, the innovative, NFL-focused website created by Mike Florio. As part of the new long-term extension, ProFootballTalk will feature increased video content, with Florio providing daily, short- form video reports to supplement PFT’s extensive written coverage on breaking NFL news.

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 26, 2016 – With the 2015-16 TV season wrapping up last night, NBC’s Sunday Night Footballfinished as television’s No. 1 primetime show in household rating (13.0) and viewership (22.5 million average) for the fifth consecutive season, based on live plus same day data from The Nielsen Company (September-May). Sunday Night Football also ranked as the No. 1 show in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic for the sixth consecutive TV season.

NEW YORK and STAMFORD, CONN – May 25, 2016 – USA Network, the exclusive cable home to WWE’s marquee properties, announced that its weekly SMACKDOWN show will air live – for the first time ever – and move to Tuesdays every week beginning July 19 from 8-10PM ET/PT. With the SMACKDOWN move, USA Network will now offer five hours of live WWE programming a week, including the weekly three-hour live WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW (airing Mondays from 8-11PM ET/PT), with each show featuring a distinct cast, unique storylines and a dedicated writing team.
Craig Sager is one of the most respected sideline reporters in sports, and he is well known for both his colorful attire and personality. Given a life-changing diagnosis of leukemia in 2014, TNT’s hard-working veteran returned to the sidelines in 2015 and continues to publicly battle the disease while remaining committed to the work he loves. ESPN today announced that Sager will be honored with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at “The 2016 ESPYS presented by Capital One.” The ESPYS will be broadcast live on WEDNESDAY, JULY 13 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
