FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: HEY BABY, WHAT’S YOUR FANTASY?
Last night, I explained in very simple terms how to play fantasy football. I can’t say I am an expert at this point, but I am certainly learning! Here are a few terms used in the game that will possibly lead you to winning.
Auction—What It Means: This is a fantasy draft style in which owners use a bidding system to acquire players.
What I Thought It Meant: I was actually right about this, (imagine THAT!) but picture it done auctioneer style, complete with fast talking and going once, going twice, SOLD!
Betty White would dominate at Fantasy Football, auction style.
Breakout—What It Means: This is when a player goes from average to great.
What I Thought It Meant: I have no clue, but the actual description makes me think about breakout artists at awards shows or the show Prison Break.
Bust—What It Means: This is a player who underperforms and does not live up to expectations.
What I Thought It Meant: When a player is busted for something and kicked out of the game.
Bye week—What It Means: Every NFL team is inactive once during the regular season, which is called a bye week.
What I Thought It Meant: A week when players are switched out for others, therefore, saying goodbye to the original players picked and hello to new ones.

What I Thought It Meant: I pretty much was accurate on my thoughts with this one.
