Trade bait—What It Means: These are good players who can be offered to other coaches.

What I Thought It Meant: I pretty much had the right idea, but when I heard bait, it made me think of fishing.

People are FISHING for good players to add to their Fantasy Football roster.

Trading deadline—What It Means: This is the last day of the season to make trades.

What I Thought It Meant: I actually knew this one! YAY!

Vulture back—What It Means: This is a running back who steals goal-line carries from the starter.

What I Thought It Meant: Not a clue, I know vultures are birds and somehow doubted that there were birds who to help out, so I had nothing.

Waiver wire—What It Means: These are dropped players who are there  before they become free agents.

What I Thought It Meant: Signing waivers in order to be a part of certain leagues.
