FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: IRONMAN TRAINING AND CHALLENGES WEEK 2

FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: IRONMAN TRAINING AND CHALLENGES WEEK 2FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: IRONMAN TRAINING AND CHALLENGES WEEK 2

Last week’s training went pretty well, especially since I had the latter part of the week off from work. I managed to cut the Diet Coke out of my diet (although I miss it!) and for the most part ate healthy. Yes, I did have some treats, but like I said before, for me, one treat a day is better than a whole cheat day.

I also looked into swimming at the YMCA and taking lessons. I am an employee there, so it is free. (Any way I can save money makes me happy!) They have open swim in the mornings and lessons on Saturdays. I work this Saturday at my other job, but plan to go on my next day off. I also plan to hit the pool on my days off.

Although it is winter, biking is easy since I am a spin instructor. I only teach once a week, but plan to get more biking in during the week.

This week’s goals:

Drink more water

Increase running by at least one mile (I’m also counting my work walking into this)

Increase protein

Eat breakfast

Look into vitamins and supplements

Increase biking

Increase strength training

It is a small list, but I think it is manageable. My only issues may be the weather (snow!) and work preventing me from going to the gym. However, since my job allows me to be very physically active, I can still get activity into my day.

As always, thanks for the support and tuning into Football In High Heels for my journey and your source for football and sports news, highlights and lessons.
