9/8 – Yankees @ Blue Jays

The game started with some potential runs for the Yankees. After two outs, Taijuan Walker walked the next three batters to load the bases before getting Mike Tauchman to flyout to end the threat.

The second inning had potential with Miguel Andujar hitting a double and Tyler Wade getting on base with a walk. But no run materialized. Blue Jays got on the board with a two run homer by Jonathan Davis.

Both pitchers did their jobs until the fifth. Shun Yamaguchi took over for the Blue Jays and the Yankees got two hits and a walk to load the bases. A sacrifice fly by Mike Tauchman brings the Yankees within one. Only two more players got on base the rest of the game.

Blue Jays win 2-1.
