9/26 – Marlins @ Yankees


Marlins get on the board with three runs in the third. Monte Harrison scores from first on a Miguel Rojas double. Rojas scores on a base hit by Jon Berti. And Berti scores on a base hit by Matt Joyce. 3-0 Marlins.

Yankees tie up the game in the fifth with a two run homer by Tyler Wade off the corner of the right field second deck. Aaron Judge walks and scores from first on a deep double by Giancarlo Stanton. 3-3 game.

Bottom of the sixth, Gio Urshela walks and Aaron Hicks brings him one with a home run that lands just in front of the right field bleachers. Clint Frazier is hit by a pitch then is hit by the ball as he steals second. Gary Sanchez walks. With two on, and no one out, Wade hits a sacrifice bunt to advance the runners. DJ LeMahieu hits a double that trickles to the left field wall that scores two. Marlins change pitchers from Stephen Tarpley to Nick Vincent. Judge flies out and Stanton walks. Luke Voit hits is 22nd home run of the season for three RBI. 10-3 Yankees.

Both teams would score one more run each.

11-4 Yankees. Final game of the regular season tomorrow.
